Adgitize Pays You to Advertise

Posted by kexbrown on April 16, 2009

“Adgitize – We pay you to Advertise.” Well, that is an excellent headline, but it is stretching the truth a bit. I am finding many dedicated Adgitize members. They are writing articles regularly, they are visiting our advertiser’s sites. They have some traffic coming in.

Get More Traffic to Your Blog

But, did you know you can get more traffic? You can get more Adgitize Ad Views and Adgitize Page Views? Did you know you can have more people signing up for your rssfeeds? And you can make a little money along with your new found traffic.

What did I mean by the comment “We Pay You to Advertise?” What I am seeing is the active Adgitize members that are also advertising are getting more traffic, because they are advertising, and they are earning somewhere between $20 and $30 this month.

So, you pay $14 for an Adgitize ad. It runs on our ad network and gets about 1500 clicks for the month. But as an active Adgitize Member you are scoring points. Points that get converted to dollars. Dollars that are paid out each month to the membership. In May we will pay out more money for April to our members than any month in our 5 month history. We pride ourselves on our payout record.

Try a One Week Ad

Why not consider an ad today? Not sure about $14? Then try a one week ad for $7. You will see the benefits right away and you can schedule a full month ad 7 days later.

All members remember to keep writing articles everyday. Keep visiting our advertiser’s everyday. And consider your first ad on the Adgitize Ad Network. Oh yeah, you have to be a publisher of Adgitize ads to earn any money in the Adgitize Ad Network.

I really like the direction this site is heading… I hope it continues growing for a long time yet!

I have a question though. As the site grows, do you think you’ll be offering more targeted advertising plans? My shop and blog are both very niche (I am a crafter – I make yarn and knit things to sell) so I wouldn’t necessarily be wanting to advertise across the whole network.

Yes, we have plans in the works already to allow our advertisers to target market their offerings. It’s probably a couple of months away. Thanks for asking!

    Hi Ken,

I’m really impressed. Not sure how you’ve done it, but keep up the awesome work. Like I’ve said before, you’re one stand-up dude!

Have you given any thought to curbing some of the blogs that are using widgets taking more than a few minutes to load?

I think its good to have targeted audience marketing, like in terms of interest and geographical locations. That way, it will be more efficient to advertisers

@Shari – can you recommend a way to identify these blogs programmatically? There are many blogs that take forever to load. I don’t know exactly how to tell them, “hey dude, remove some of the widgets.”

Are you suggesting this for publisher blogs or for advertiser’s blogs? It is a good idea, I need input on how best to implement it.

Thanks for the recommendation and the nice comments. I appreciate it!

I keep several tabs open because some blogs just take a while… so there is usually something else I can be doing while I’m waiting. Like clicking sites on Shari’s new Traffic Exchange (smile). I’ve bookmarked a bunch of Adgitizer’s sites too so if I get blocked on a site that has bought an ad but doesn’t have others to click to I can pick another. I know we have a list now, but this way I can hit some of my favs easier.

Don’t forget that ‘long loaders’ could be influenced by where you are in the world too!

I must add my aplause for Adgitise, so far it’s working well for me, as well as being user friendly. Certainly seems to be more logically done than that other well known blog widget. ;)

As an aside (totally off topic), I’ve just noticed my reports say:

Total Publisher Clicks Earned Today: 50

Total Advertisers Available to Click: 51

but the adverts all have ‘Advertise 100′ at the bottom of them. Which one is correct? Or are they both?

Also like the ‘day by day’ reports for ad clicks too.

    Keep up the great work.

Just wanted to say thanks for everything ! This is my second month here and it looks like I will earn about 4 times more then I did last month.

Hats off to your hard work ! And here’s to hoping that Adgitize continues to grow like crazy !

    Chris

  • kexbrown said,

@Chinaren – Adgitize 100 and 51 advertisers, they are both correct. Why? Because advertisers get an advertiser bonus on the click points. There are advantages to being an advertiser on the Adgitize Ad Network and part of those advantages include earning money while you advertise.

@Chris – Isn’t it nice to know your hard work of writing articles, checking out our advertisers and being active in the Adgitize Ad Network is paying off?

To both, thanks for the kudos!

I have been involved with adgitize for almost 48 hours now and i am already loving it. Yesterday was my first day – all i did was post on my blogs and already i have 121 points! remains to be seen what that will actually mean come month end… but everything about this site and system seems positive. I think that I might go for an advert next month if things continue to go well…

@HT – welcome to Adgitize. 121 points is great. I encourage you highly to try to get over 300 points each day. Even over 200 points will make a huge difference in your daily earnings. There is a greater earnings bump by exceeding 300 points each day.

It isn’t always easy to do, but it is definitely worth it. To reach 300 as an advertiser is easier than not being an advertiser.

Welcome and thanks for being a member of Adgitize.

    Hi Ken,

I am so amazed with how you do in Adgitize. I have never advertised my blog before and my first time here to do so made a very huge difference! I love how all the change that happened (and might happen in the future) were still beneficial to every members especially the more active ones. I am more than satisfied being an advertiser and a publisher here. April has been the best month so far.

    Keep up the incredible work!

Looking forward to the next months and years,

  • kexbrown said,

@Louise – Hey it is great that you decided to become an advertiser in the Adgitize Ad Network. I think you will be happy with the traffic you receive.

Your ad is shown randomly throughout our entire network. It can be shown on up to 2500 blogs within our publisher community. To see some of the blogs you can check out the Leaderboard within the Member’s Lounge. To see all active publishers who aren’t also advertisers go to Reports. Choose Blogs Not Clicked Link in the publisher section. It will show about 20 at a time and then you have to wait 5 minutes to see the next group of 20. Not efficient.

Just check out the Leaderboard to see the 300 most active publishers and some of the other advertisers.

I have been with Adgitize for over 2 months now and have not made one penny. I have 3 blogs and a website. A small but loyal followers.

I don’t get how you guys make any money at all when I am doing the same thing you are and make nothing.

Something is definitely wrong. I am not a teenager and I have worked with computers for over 30 yrs so it’s not like I’m a newbie or anything.

I am handicapped and need to make a little extra money. But I don’t have the extra money to spend on pie in the sky schemes.

I’m just looking for a way to make a few bucks and then sure hasn’t worked for me.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    thematrix777

  • kexbrown said,

@thematrix777 – I have many suggestions that will help you earn more with Adgitize. To begin with I am sorry that up to this point you haven’t earned anything. Let’s see if we can educate others with this response.

Right now you have an Adgitize affiliate ad on your blog home page. That is an excellent start but you can do more.

I would recommend that you choose to become a publisher. The first step would be to go to the Adgitize Member’s Lounge, choose Get Code. Choose an ad format that would look nice on your blog and get the code for that ad format. Then add that code to your blog so the ads are visible on your blog. Do the same thing for each of your blogs.

You will immediately begin earning no less than 1 cent a day.

Next add your rss feed link to your blogs. Go to manage blogs and edit blogs. Do this for each of your blogs. Every time you write an article you will score 100 points a day. (Only one article per day is counted toward your 100 points)

Then as a publisher you can earn extra points by visiting our wonderful advertisers. Go to the Members Lounge. Choose reports. Then choose Blogs Not Clicked Today link.

This will provide you a list of publishers that display our ads. Click one of the links. When you arrive at the blog look for the Adgitize Ad Group. Click on one of the ads within that ad group.

Each time you do these steps you will earn 1 point up to 100 points per day. You can only click on 1 ad per blog. So, keep finding publisher blogs – find the ads and click one ad.

So, you should be over 200 points a day after doing those 3 things. Now this won’t make you rich, 10 cents to 25 cents a day, but you will be making more than a penny a day.

To make more money – but a cost is associated with this is to be a publisher and an advertiser. To advertise costs you $14 a month, but your earnings will increase if you are doing the other steps.

I hope this helps you with our system. If you have additional questions please let us know. We want you to succeed and earn some money each day.

I am an Adgitize publisher for three (3) weeks now but got to read this thread only now. I am happy to know the right way of blog walking on Adgitize network now. Before, when I saw an Adgitize Ad Group on a publisher’s site, I click them all so I’m surprised why I can’t make 100 click points when I know I have visited more than that.

My Earning Report for the past 3 weeks shows made 1 to 3 US cents for daily points ranging from 20 to 150+ and kexbrown’s post above says that 200+ points daily would result to earning of 10 to 25 US cents only.

Now, I have to ask. Should I decide to be an advertiser/publisher and make 300 to 350 points only, how much would that translate in dollar earnings per day? Must I have always have advertiser recruits to make an average of say US$20 to 30 per month?

EdZee aka xicowner’s last blog post..The “Kick-Off” Continues

  • kexbrown said,

@Edzee – Here are a few facts to help you make your decision on whether to advertise or not. For the month of June publishers earning 300 to 350 points a day earned from a minimum of 41 cents to a maximum of 67 cents per day.

The average earnings for that period was 50 cents per day. Now none of these amounts are guaranteed since they are a function of total revenue received compared to total points available to pay out.

The earnings for 200 to 300 points was on average 18 cents a day.

    I hope this helps.
