August Fireworks Contest
August is normally a slow month with people on vacation, at the pool or off buying school supplies for the children. I thought it would be fun to shake things up a little with a contest at Adgitize.
How about winning a grand prize of $75 USD? Wouldn’t that be fun? Here are the prizes.
1st Prize $75 USD
2nd Prize $50 USD
3rd Prize $25 USD
4th Prize 1 Month Ad on the Adgitize Network
5th Prize 14 Day Ad on the Adgitize Network
6th Prize 7 Day Ad on the Adgitize Network
The rules:
Grow Your Blog
Like all the processes at Adgitize we want you to grow your blog. So, you win by doing the things that normally grow a blog. You will receive entries into this contest 4 different ways.
- 1 Entry for Each Day in August that you have an Adgitize Ad Group on your Blog.
- 1 Entry for each day in August you have an ad running on the Adgitize Ad Network
- 1 Entry for each day in August you write an article on your blog
- 1 Entry for each day in August you score at least 10 Adgitize Click Points
How will you know that you have an entry in the contest? Each day just look at your Adgitize Points. If you have at least one Page View Point for a day in August you will have one entry in the contest.
If you have 100 Advertising points you will have a second entry. If Adgitize has awarded you 100 article points you will have one entry in the contest. Make sure you have given us your rss feed URL to ensure you receive article points. If you have at least 10 Click Points you will receive one entry.
You can score up to 4 entries EACH DAY in August. After winning one prize you will not be eligible for another prize within this contest.
The contest runs from August 1st, 2009 to August 31st, 2009. Prizes will be awarded on September 2nd, 2009. Adgitize will randomly choose the 6 winners from all available entries at that time. Member has to be an Active Adgitize Publisher to win.

great contest .This will give publishers new charm to work hard and score highest points everyday.I am already publishing an article a day.more than one pageview,everyday,more than 10 article points in most of the days ,but this time will try to get atleast that much every day. Also reached 100 points 4-5 times in a month.
I am already entitled to win ,let’s see if luck favours me to win .I would be most happy if I win first prize.

@Ken – I have a suggestion on how you will raffle the winners. You could be doing this already but I suggest that you pick the winner of the top prize first so that all those with entries would get the chance to win it.
Beginning the draw with the last prize will eliminate the first 5 winners from getting the USD75 top prize. I hope you will consider this suggestion if you are not doing it yet that way.
OT: Why is Adgitize’ CommentLuv not working? My last post is not getting parsed.

@EdZee – Yes, the random drawing will start with the winner and go down to the 6th prize.
Not sure about the commentluv issue. Did they just push out new code?
@Daisy – We are glad you are having fun. We definitely considered adding comments to the points totals, but it is difficult and expensive to keep track of and there tends to be abuse in comments.
