Enhancements at Adgitize – Plus 5,000 Members
Posted by kexbrown on December 2, 2009
Just so you know that we don’t just sit around all day twiddling our thumbs. We have added some enhancements at Adgitize which I think are positive.
Adgitize Now Has 5000 Members
First the good News – In December, we signed up our 5,000th Member. Imagine a year ago we had about 100 members. Now, thanks to you we have surpassed 5,000 members. And it truly is our members that have grown the Adgitize Network. The only thing we did was create some affiliate ads and then made sure we paid the members when they were supposed to be paid and made sure the ads run regularly. You guys are truly outstanding and I personally give you a standing ovation.
Virtual Gift Certificates
Some of you may have noticed we now are offering Gift Certificates. A couple of our members had requested them a while back and we finally finished coding and database work and now you can buy an Adgitize Virtual Gift Certificate for that next contest you host.
They make great gifts and come in 3 prices. One for each of the ad sizes we offer, 7 Day Ad, 14 Day Ad and One Month Ad. An important note, the buyer earns zero Adgitize points, but when the recipient places their ad then they will earn full advertisers points. Try them out for Christmas presents for those special bloggers in your network.
Testimonials
Next we added a Testimonials section to help you find new affiliate members and to encourage them to advertise in the Adgitize Ad Network. Hopefully, each of you will earn a couple more dollars each month because of this new sales message.
Article Titles on the Preferred Publishers
Finally, we added article titles to the Preferred Publishers section. What do you think? I think it adds value to the section and will encourage you to enhance your titles for each of your articles. We will update the article titles as our rss feed spider returns home after each trip and records your latest article.
Nothing earth shaking here, but fun changes that add value to your being a part of Adgitize. Thanks for all you do.

Ken said and I quote: “In December, we signed up our 5,000th Member. Imagine a year ago we had about 100 members.”
I figured it out and Adgitize has grown by leaps and bounds. Its growth in membership as an advertising network in just one year is simply an incredible achievement vis-a-vis other ad networks, with the exception perhaps of the giant Google.
Being a constant advertiser since I joined Adgitize on May 20, 2009, I am particularly happy that my ad now can be seen in the landing pages of 5,000 publisher blogs, on random rotation, 24/7 for 31 days.
Now I can say that advertising in Adgitize is not only wonderful, but also awesome.

yey! way to go! I’m noticing increase on my earnings. I’m really happy. 5,000 members? That’s really a success. I hope I can get that amount of visits a day, too. LOL
and thanks for considering the Gift Certificate requests. Goodluck!

Wow, Ken! Thanks mighty impressive. I keep seeing the Adg squares on lots of blogs that never advertise here. Sad for them, but great for us!
And I love the article titles with the blogs, but, um… the one that is listed for my blog is not one of my titles. It kinda looks like a title I might write, but I don’t see that I ever used it. Certainly not recently. What’s up with that?

Hi Ken!! Thanks for restoring my missing article points so fast. Also I wanna say congratulations to Adgitize for garnering 5000 members in such a short period of time!

I think the gift certificate is a great idea! Am also wondering how to post testimonials at the testimonials section. I went to the page but I couldn’t find anywhere to post my thoughts on Adgi….

OK- I figured it out. The link is to My Quality Day, but the title is being pulled from Just Throw Money. I’ll move this discussion to the forum.

It feels great being part of Adgitize! It’s amazing how it has reached 5,000 members in a year. Wow.. more success to Adgitize and all the members!
The virtual certificates, testimonials and article titles all sounds good to me!

I find the new innovation in adding the latest posts of the blogs in the Preferred Publishers section to be very useful. It adds value to the blogs listed there.
In addition, it provides easy access for the visitors to the Adgitize site like me. So, at a glance and without spending much time, I can just click on the title of the article that is of interest to me and it takes me immediately to that blog’s homepage.
I think it will also encourage more publishers to apply and join the Preferred Publishers List, thus enhancing the ads of the advertisers.
The Adgitize homepage is really getting better and better.

Looking great Ken. Congratulations on the 5,000th member. I remember when I signed up in April/May time and there were only about 52 members

Yay! And here’s to having 50,000 next year!

Hi, Ken. The Article Title for Preferred Publishers is a great idea. But mine showed the wrong one. It showed the title of the post of my other blog. ^^
kexbrown said,
@Fedhz – Yes, that is a known issue and will probably be wrong for the next couple of weeks. See forum for more info on this issue.

Now that the Adgitize network has 5,000 publisher-members with diverse blog categories and niches, may I suggest the following to give more choices to advertisers and add value to their ads, as well as make the Adgitize site more interactive and valuable to the members.
1. Group the different publishers by categories according to their blogs’ niche, e.g. Business & Finance, Literature & Writing, Computer & Internet, Fashion & Beauty, Health & Lifestyle, Home & Garden, Internet Marketing & Making Money Online, etc.
This way, advertisers who want to have a more targeted ads and market niche can select the specific categories to place their ads.
This feature can be in addition and complementary to the existing full network ads, to give advertisers a choice or alternative.
2. Add a MARKET PLACE section where publishers can buy and sell their own products and services, and Adgitize can get a ‘fee’ in the form of “commission” or “sales tax” for every consummated transaction.
This way, publishers who have their own products or services to sell online and those needing those products and services can meet and transact business thru the Adgitize site, thus enhancing the value of the site and providing ‘extra’ service to members, for a ‘fee’.

@Eli – thanks for the suggestions. We are actually working on both of these issues and you will see both of these in 2010.

I just signed up to advertise my blog hoping I could get more visitors and earn a bit. I heard great things about adgitize, I hope I will get successful too.

@Shydub – Welcome to Adgitize. I wish you the best of luck here and as a blogger. Let us know if you have questions as it can be overwhelming on first blush.

I think that the new additions are a good start. I completely agree with the other suggestions as well, niche campaigns can provide a more targeted audience. Hope for another banner year!

Congratulations on the 5,000th member. The grow of Adgitize has been most impressive! Kudos Ken for making this such a great advertising opportunity. I have no complaints. I’m quite happy with the results I am getting! I like the idea of the gift certificates and am considering buying one to use as a contest prize on one of my blogs as soon as I figure out what kind of contest I want to run.

The idea of a virtual Gift Certificate is really wonderful.
Two nights ago I bought 1 gift certificate and give it to my blogpal as my advance Christmas gift, for her to advertise her blog for 31 days in the Adgitize network.
Being her first time to advertise in Adgitize, she is all praises for the new traffic her blog is receiving from Adgitize referrals.
Without that gift certificate I would still be thinking until now what gift would I give her as a Christmas presents.

I must say I was looking at some web statistics of my website and realized a bulk of my visitors are from here.
You’ve earned my money Kev!
