Hi yashirokuru,

i guess we have to wait until 180 advertisers have paid 24$ for their new ad as the calculation in Ken's Blog post from 7th October was based on this amount (and this can take until December!)

Until now we have just two or three advertisers who paid the new price

(29th October 202 advertisers - 31st October 216 advertisers - 2nd November 212 advertisers - 3rd November 214 advertisers)

because many members bought in the last days of October a “Last minute ad” to preserve the old ad price instead of renewing the ad in November for 24$.

If you like, you and the other members can take part in my survey about Adgitize :)

@Yashirokuru - Well, it isn't going to be one day you are at the old earnings and then the next day you are at the new earnings. As members begin to renew their ads at the new prices then earnings will begin to rise.

We are receiving new members buying ads and members have begun to renew their ads at the new prices. There were many advertisers who bought a new ad at the end of October and so that will have some effect on earnings for the month.

As the month progresses your earnings will begin to rise.

Hope we begin to see that rise.  Right now my daily earnings have gone down while my points are consistently better.  I've had 400 points every day this month (seems to be from increased traffic), but have earned an average of $.59 a day)

@Sharkbytes - There is an anomally this month as some members purchased ads before their other ads expired, in effect they are running 2 ads instead of one. This bumped up their points and total system points overall. With total system points up your percentage will go down.

As these member's original ads begin to expire you will see your earnings begin to rise. Less overall system points and your own percentage increasing. Look for this to occur mid month or so. The good news is many members are renewing their ads at the new prices and we are getting new advertisers.

I was hoping it was something like that.

I understood there would be some lag in the new earnings taking place, but we are near the end of the month.  I see the earnings up a bit, but not enough to cover the cost of renewing at the new rate.  Under the old rate, I was able to generate enough to pay for an ad with a buck or so leftover.

@Dickster - Actually, I thought it would switch over by now, also. And earnings are definitely up, someone that scored 305 points on 11/9/2009 earned 43 cents. That same person scoring 305 points on 11/25/2009 is at 52 cents. That is a 20% improvement. But, I',m like you that isn't good enough.

Checking the list of ads due to be renewed in the next 5 days we are seeing 74 ads still to be renewed (this represents a 30% increase). So, if they renew their ads then there will be a tremendous increase in revenue. If they don't renew their ads then their points will go down. Either of those two scenarios should bump up your own earnings.

After December 2nd, we will actually be comparing apples to apples. There won't be any of the old priced ads in the system. Anybody that had 2 ads going just because of the price increase will probably only have one ad and so there will be less points in the system.  So, over the next 6 days I expect to see earnings rise.

Well I earned 1.01 for yesterday, which I haven't done since Ken introduced the new payout rates, so it looks like things are picking up.

In any case, it's still darned good value for money!

@Chinaren - The 26th was definitely a better earnings day. But, if I may set expectations, the 26th was the start of the American Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. Many Americans go visit family or take a vacation (or just go shopping) and this could affect the available points numbers.

Where normally we have 110 to 120 members over the 300 point mark each day, on the 26th there were only 99. Because of the holiday many of our members may not have had access to their computers and may not have had the opportunity to blog or click ads.

I think the next couple of days we will continue this trend. So, your earnings may exceed even our expectations with the new prices, but the possibility exists that they may fluctuate wildly as we finish the weekend. Don't be surprised if that occurs.

Plus, if you are normally in the 200 to 300 point range you may see your earnings drop below normal. Because all the members that would normally be in the 300 plus range drop down to the 200 to 300 range and inflate the available points in that tier.

To quote Chinaren - “In any case, it's still darned good value for money!”

Huh, 74 members have to renew their “old priced” 14 $ ads? That's a lot.

But it is good to know this number because now we can see WHY the actual earnings could not move up to the predicted level.

74/177 advertiser = 41,80% ads in the system have a value of 14$ and

58,20% of the ads have now a value between 12 - 24$.

Some complain now that the earnings went just up by 20% and not by 40% (like written in the blog announcement of the ad price hike on 7th October) but it can be at the moment only 20% when you combine both ad prices

41,8% x 14$ = 5,85 $

58,2% x 22$ = 12,80 $ (a lower value as there are 12$/18$ ads, too)

combined ad price of 18,65 $ = 29,3% increase

deducting of referral payments for new advertising members (8 +1 $) and for renewing advertiser (1$)

the actual earnings could only grow by 20%.

The real improved earnings can only be seen -like Ken Brown said- when the 2nd December is over and the ads which have been bought between 29th - 31st October are renewed (or not).

I'm optimistic that many members will again achieve higher earnings as what they have paid for their 24$ ad.

If you scored between 450 - 470 points, you could already earn since 21st November 80+ cents (which is sufficient to pay for a 24$ ad).

Adgitize NEVER DISAPPOINTED in paying advertisers a big cash rebate when they have been active publishers (even with just 60 advertisers in April and a steadily growing publisher group, several advertisers could achieve a fully paid back ad at the end of the month).

I believe many advertiser will be disappointed if they stop advertising in the first week of December and see how much money and traffic they lost due to not renewing their ad.

November was the month with pain for several advertisers who bought a 24$ ad and for members who are watching for the predicted earnings. December will be the month like we saw it in the previous months, advertisers and publishers will be happy again seeing TRAFFIC AND IMPROVED EARNINGS (not the predicted ones but much higher than the average November-Earnings).
