August Fireworks Contest
August is normally a slow month with people on vacation, at the pool or off buying school supplies for the children. I thought it would be fun to shake things up a little with a contest at Adgitize.
How about winning a grand prize of $75 USD? Wouldn’t that be fun? Here are the prizes.

The rules:
Grow Your Blog
Like all the processes at Adgitize we want you to grow your blog. So, you win by doing the things that normally grow a blog. You will receive entries into this contest 4 different ways.
- 1 Entry for Each Day in August that you have an Adgitize Ad Group on your Blog.
- 1 Entry for each day in August you have an ad running on the Adgitize Ad Network
- 1 Entry for each day in August you write an article on your blog
- 1 Entry for each day in August you score at least 10 Adgitize Click Points
How will you know that you have an entry in the contest? Each day just look at your Adgitize Points. If you have at least one Page View Point for a day in August you will have one entry in the contest.
If you have 100 Advertising points you will have a second entry. If Adgitize has awarded you 100 article points you will have one entry in the contest. Make sure you have given us your rss feed URL to ensure you receive article points. If you have at least 10 Click Points you will receive one entry.
You can score up to 4 entries EACH DAY in August. After winning one prize you will not be eligible for another prize within this contest.
The contest runs from August 1st, 2009 to August 31st, 2009. Prizes will be awarded on September 2nd, 2009. Adgitize will randomly choose the 6 winners from all available entries at that time. Member has to be an Active Adgitize Publisher to win.

We are on the verge of breaking 8 million ad views shown for the last 30 days. Adgitize Members, A Singaporean in London – C K and Borzack – Healthy Lifestyle think we are going to hit the 10 million ad views served any day now. So, it was suggested that we have a contest. Here are the prizes:
- First Prize: $25 Cash USD and a one month ad on Adgitize
- Second Prize: a one month ad on Adgitize
- Third Prize: a one month ad on Adgitize
How do you win?
Leave a comment on this article. In your comment you MUST tell us 2 things.
- What DATE do you think the Total Ad Views Shown Last 30 Days indicator will show 10,000,000 or more?
- What TIME of day will it reach 10,000,000 ad views shown? This will be in CHICAGO TIME.
A successful entry will look like: I think it will be March 1st, 2009 at 10 AM.
The First prize Winner will be the person who is closest to the date and time without being past it. This means if it were to click over 10 million on March 1st, 2009 at 10 AM your entry will have to say sometime BEFORE that date and time. (March 1st, 2009 at 9AM would qualify.)
The Second and Third prize winners will be randomly drawn from all entries.
You may enter up to 3 times.
The winning entry MUST be entered as a comment at least 3 days before the counter exceeds 10 million. This means if it were to click over 10 million on March 1st, 2009 at 10 AM you will have to leave your entry as a comment to this article no later than February 26, 2009 at 10 AM.
You do not have to be a member of Adgitize to win (though we would like for you to be.) All dates and times are for Chicago time.
I really don’t have a clue when this might occur. It might be next week or next month or two months from now. The Adgitize Ad Network has over 1200 members representing 2000 blogs. Some of the blogs are displaying one ad others are displaying up to 10 ads. Some get less than 10 views a day while others are displaying nearly 5000 page views a day. 68 Active advertisements keep the database busy serving ads to the entire network. So, take a chance and guess. You have nothing to lose – it only takes a moment and who knows, You Might Win.
The contest officially closes the moment the Ad View indicator changes to 10 million ad views shown. Any entries after that moment will not be entered to win a prize.
